Can Web 2.0 tools enhance assessment validation by VET teachers?
The Parramatta CEO Compliance Audit Tool States:
8.6 VET teachers must validate their assessment strategies at least annually by reviewing, comparing and evaluating the assessment processes, tools and evidence contributing to judgments made by other assessors against the same competency standards.
8.7 VET teachers must document any action taken to improve the quality and consistency of assessment
This is accordance with;
ANTA AQTF Standards for Registered Training Organisations: p.11-12

What are you going to do in your project (What)?
· Use some existing VET competency assessment task and develop an online evaluation proforma / survey.
· Feedback should indicate whether the assessment actually assesses what it claims to assess, integrating knowledge and skills with their practical application, as well as being reflective of industry standards.
· Establish and Competency Assessment Exchange Site where all teachers in the diocese delivering Hospitality / Business Services can access task, provide feedback and post new competency assessment task.
· Ask industry experts to evaluate the tasks/site. Provide valuable industry perspective.
